MDF which is short for medium-density fibreboard is an extremely versatile material, it’s easier to shape than solid wood and when combined with Veneer will give that genuine wood look. Best of all it’s made from recycled materials in it’s creation meaning we save the trees.

Commonly used as an overlay for building materials such as MDF and Plywood. Due to its tough outer coating, melamine boards can deal with excessive heat, moisture and stains. You are guaranteed a uniformed finish unlike solid woods and is easy to clean.

Plywood consists of multiple layers of real wood sealed together to create a solid board, it is generally much thicker and therefore stronger than MDF. Plywood boards work great in projects where splitting by nails are a concern or in where expansion and shrinkage need to be a consideration.

Made up of thin layers of hard wood bonded over a solid core, veneered boards give the look and cost of solid wood. Veener is available in a variety of grains and finishes. A great alternative to solid timber, with design possibilities being so diverse.
